Meet the Team

Sherry Robbins brings over 30 years of leadership experience and a deep commitment to people and community to her role as Executive Director of the Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home. A lifelong Maine resident, Sherry lives in Bangor with her husband, stepson, their dog, and three cats. She is also a proud mother, stepmother, and grandmother to five grandchildren.

A graduate of Old Town High School and Husson University, where she majored in Business Management, Sherry has spent the majority of her career focused on employee development, operational excellence, and building strong, people-centered organizations. She has been self-employed for more than two decades, successfully owning and managing Union Street Athletics for 24 years and Hometown Pizza & Deli for four years.

Known for her strategic mindset and compassionate leadership, Sherry is dedicated to maintaining the Home’s long-standing tradition of excellence while fostering continuous improvement in resident experience, staff engagement, and operational quality.

Her leadership philosophy is simple: lead with integrity, care deeply, and always keep people at the heart of every decision.
